Saji Prelis

Director, Children & Youth Programs at Search For Common Grounds

Saji Prelis has over 20 years’ experience working with young people as partners and leaders in preventing violent extremism, strengthening resilience and sustaining peace in many parts of the world. He is the founding co-chair of the inter-agency working group on Youth and Peacebuilding that helped bringing to life the historic UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security.  The process was a collaborative effort bringing UN agencies, INGOs and youth to work together toward a collective impact. 

Prelis obtained his Master's Degree in International Peace & Conflict Resolution with a Concentration in International Law from the School of International Service at American University in Washington, DC.
